The word "résumé" or "CV" did not exist in our culture, and it’s a relatively new concept. In the modern world, the term "résumé" is mainly used when seeking jobs within organizations.
In this document, I intend to write a genuine, not imitative or fake, résumé for myself.
The purpose of a résumé is to let the reader know what roles or functions I can serve in an organization.
I believe humans are unique and complex beings, and reducing a person to mere functions is not appropriate. Even condensing a human’s life into a one- or two-page résumé is a kind of reduction.
The very assumption that I will continue doing the same tasks I have done before is limiting and contrary to the idea of freedom. The notion that, for instance, I have been doing a particular job for twenty years and will continue doing the same for the next twenty year, is very discouraging. However, given the specialization of work and the diversity of talents, there is some place for a résumé.
